Materials Engineering · Purdue University · Co-op @ Howmet Aerospace
I'm obsessed with how small changes — in composition, process, or design — create outsized differences in performance. From superalloy castings to robots to racing karts, I build things that push the limits of materials.
A custom quadruped robot project — designing, building, and programming a four-legged walking machine from the ground up.
A custom-built jukebox combining hardware design, embedded electronics, and a custom enclosure.
A community-focused Eagle Scout project — planning, organizing, and leading a team to completion.
A custom racing simulator rig - bespoke folding frame, 15Nm wheel base, and pedals created from scratch.
Reviving a barn-find 928 - tracking a decade-old misfire to a crushed injector seal and restoring a dead instrument cluster.
Designed and fabricated custom bumper brackets for the Honors College Racing Club kart, balancing weight, strength, and ease of replacement.
About
I'm a Materials Engineering sophomore at Purdue, with a growing obsession for how small changes — in composition, process, or design — create outsized differences in performance. On campus I split my time between robotics, racing, and research: treasurer for Robot in 3 Days, Engineering Lead for the Honors College Racing Club, and working in the Hypersonic Materials Lab on additive manufacturing of ceramic composites.
I also work as a Process Engineer co-op at Howmet Aerospace with superalloy castings, where I've seen firsthand how small process changes make real differences in quality — exactly the kind of materials-to-application connection I came to Purdue for.
When I'm not in the lab or shop, I'm rock climbing, playing frisbee, or chasing the next thing I want to build.
